Ligny

Using the Napoleonic version of the March into Battle system, this game portrays the Battle of Ligny in a furious, fast moving two turn game. Part of a group of mini-games on the battles of the Waterloo campaign, with Quatre Bras and La Belle Alliance.

In this system as in reality, units will become ineffective from fatigue and disorder long before they run out of men - unless you, in command, can manage them effectively and maintain their edge. A turn lasts as long as the typical historical time to arrange and execute an assault - every move counts.
