Silicon Valley Startups
3–10 players · 0 min · 14+
In the party game Silicon Valley Startups, you receive an absurd startup company by luck of the draw, then need to get creative to secure funding.
To get your company, draw a company name card that gives you guidelines to follow when creating that name, then draw a target user card and an industry card. Create a product in that industry for that user that would be created by your company, then start pitching the investor to secure backing over other business dreamer wannabes. Watch out, though, because to reflect the reality of high-pressure situations in venture capitalist pitches, the investor might pull a "Hot Trend" card, forcing players to pivot and explain how drones factor into their business plan...
