Monster Max is a frantic real-time matching game in which players race to rebuild a constantly changing monster. Each round, a monster card reveals a unique monster configuration, and all players simultaneously search through their own set of monster pieces to recreate it as quickly and accurately as possible. Players must pay close attention to each piece’s side, position, orientation, and even whether the monster consists of five or six pieces. As soon as a player believes their monster matches the target, they slap the monster card to stop the round. Everyone's creations are then checked, and the player with the most correctly positioned pieces earns the card as a reward. The first player to collect five monster cards wins the game. Combining speed, observation, visual perception, and spatial reasoning, Monster Max offers a lively challenge for children and families. —description from the publisher
