The Prestel Art Game

A trivia and party game focused on art. Goal Collecting 8 chips in 6 different colours by answering questions or completing tasks. Game play Each player gets a little palette which he/she has to fill with coloured chips. Players take turns rolling the die. The active player moves the red pawn on the board and has to answer a question or complete a task, depending on the space the pawn lands on. Tasks include: Answering a question from the card True or false? (cards contain statements about artists, techniques or the history of art, and the active player has to guess whether it is true or false) Brainstorming (players have to write down 3 things they associate with a picture) Have fun with art (terms have to be drawn or described verbally while the other players guess) Auction: The active player turns over number cards, trying to get as close to 21 as possible without going over 21. Correct answers and successfully completed tasks earn the active player a colour chip. He/she can also lose colour chips during the "auction" activity. The game ends when a player has collected all 8 required colour chips. That player wins the game.
