In CRED: Tilt-Up Tycoon, players assume the role of partners in an up-and-coming real estate development group, Mountain Edge Realty. You will need to balance collaboration with advancing your own interests as only the player who contributes most to the park's success can claim victory. Are you up to the challenge? CRED features "competitive cooperation", offering a refreshing take on the semi-coop genre with no backstabbing, take that, or traitor mechanics. The game is played over 9 rounds split into 3 equal eras. During the game, players utilize worker placement spots to perform various actions to build the park from the ground up. Players negotiate ownership of individual buildings, construct planned buildings, lease to tenants, and manage their growing staff, skill set, and investments through true-to-life actions. Players gain CRED (victory points) both in game and via end game scoring to determine the winner! The game plays 30 minutes per player and can be played by 2-5 players (2 with variant). In classic tycoon fashion, CRED: Tilt-Up Tycoon immerses players in the high stakes world of commercial real estate development (CRED) and is based entirely off a real-life business park in Aurora, Colorado. The game gets its name from real life "concrete tilt-up" buildings that house operations for some of the most prominent companies across the globe. At its core, CRED balances true to life theming with robust strategy to offer a truly tycoon-style experience. —description from the publisher
