Injawara is a project co-financed by European Union that aims at promoting Development Education among youth of different European countries. In this cooperative game at the beginning of each turn a new challenge is drawn and placed in a specific continent of the world map gameboard. All the other kind of challenges that are in the same continent make the related indicators to low down in the development track. If one of this indicators reaches the skull space, the game is over and the team has lost. The team each turn chooses one resource on the world map, and may use special actions provided by a resource, then, the team may move a resource and/or answer to a question in order to solve a challenge. Each challenge require the presence of a specific resource in the same continent to be solved. Solving a challenge makes the indicator of that challenge to move three spaces up, on the development track and removes the challenge from the word map. Moreover it allows the team to unlock the power of that resource, now available to be used in the next rounds. There are 6 different continents and 8 different kind of challenge (each one related to one of the 8 Millennium Development Goals). If the team manages to solve at least a challenge per continent and at least one challenge per MDG, the game is over and points are scored depending on the position of the various indicators on the development track; the world is a better place now!
